Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months experience as security officer in healthcare or related setting.
• 1 year experience as a Security Officer preferred.
• Security Guard license: CA.
• AHA Basic Life Support (CPR) within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the facility and grounds to deter and detect unsafe acts or conditions.
• Respond to calls for assistance and dispatch officers via radio.
• Monitor electronic surveillance and hospital emergency systems; document incidents clearly.
• Report HIPAA breaches and investigate security incidents with timely incident reporting.
