We are seeking a performance-driven Hospital Sales Account Manager who is passionate about making a difference in healthcare. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of territory business development, cultivating relationships within key hospital accounts, and driving education and awareness around a critical treatment portfolio.

This position requires strong clinical and disease state knowledge and the ability to understand the complexities of the U.S. hospital market. The role also includes active collaboration with internal stakeholders such as marketing, medical affairs, healthcare systems, and operations to ensure alignment on integrated strategic plans.

What You’ll Be Doing?

  • Develop new hospital accounts and grow existing relationships by delivering effective clinical messaging and territory management
  • Implement a patient-focused hospital selling model using effective probing and closing skills
  • Maintain proper call frequency with assigned targets and adjust to align with business priorities
  • Create and execute business plans consistent with corporate goals to exceed territory sales targets
  • Communicate product features, benefits, and competitive differentiators in discussions with hospital decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Evaluate treatment and purchasing patterns across outpatient, inpatient, and contractual settings
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic account plans in collaboration with field leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal partners such as Corporate Account Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, and Reimbursement Managers to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Represent the organization with a high level of clinical expertise and account management skills

Key Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years’ hospital/institutional sales experience required from relevant roles within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated history of documented achievement of sales performance
  • Experience with patient groups, hospital pharmacies, and distributors
  • Ability to demonstrate effective management of a large geography
