Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Urbana, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for inpatient/ED roles providing high-level patient care in a 24/7 hospital setting.

Responsibilities include care coordination, symptom assessment, psychological support for patients and families, and mentoring teammates. Requires IL or MI RN licensure and BLS certification; BSN preferred with EMR and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides care coordination across the continuum with 24/7 hospital inpatient/ED coverage.
• Assesses physical symptoms and provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
• Mentors assigned team members and promotes best practices.
