Frederick Health Hospital is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Aide (Rehabilitation Aide) to support our hospital acute therapy team. You will work directly with licensed therapists, assist patients through their rehabilitation journey, and gain valuable clinical experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This role is ideal for students or graduates pursuing careers in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, SLP, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Nursing, and related health

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification through AHA/Red Cross, or ability to obtain it is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital acute setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to fulfill weekend and holiday requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists during patient treatment sessions.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and activities as directed.
• Prepare treatment areas before and after appointments.
• Maintain, clean, and organize rehabilitation equipment and rehab area.
• Stock supplies and treatment areas.
• Assist with patient flow and therapy equipment organization.
• Support therapists with daily clinical operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to every patient and visitor.
