Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy, counseling, and education to patients in a hospital setting. The role includes developing nutrition care plans, documentation, and collaboration with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold an RD with state licensure and a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, with 1+ year of clinical nutrition experience and EPIC familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
• Active RD certification and licensure in the state.
• At least one year of clinical nutrition/dietetics experience.
• Preferred EPIC experience and hospital setting background.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using medical nutrition therapy for an assigned patient population.
• Offer counseling and education to patients needing nutritional management.
• Develop and implement nutrition care plans and follow-up systems with documentation.
• Review diet orders, assess nutrition needs, and update care plans with physicians.
• Contribute to education programs for physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Create and revise patient education materials on disease management via MNT.
• Support departmental service growth, outreach, and revenue initiatives.
• Engage with referral sources and develop services aligned to client needs.
• Act as a supervisor for dietetic internships and practice rotations.
• Complete productivity reports and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Engage in clinical research and comply with regulatory policies.
