Job summary

Labcorp is seeking an Onsite Lab Support Clerk for the Ireland Army Medical Center location at Fort Knox, KY. You will prepare specimens, perform data entry, and ensure accurate labeling and timely processing in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of lab, accessioning, data entry or manufacturing experience, with strong attention to detail and teamwork. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Scrub requisitions to ensure samples are prepared and missing items are updated.
• Do spinning/freezing/splitting and other special services as needed based on client.

Labcorp is seeking a Onsite Lab Support Clerk to join our team in Ireland Army Medical Center, 289 Ireland Ave., Fort Knox, KY. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year or more experience in laboratory or accessioning or data entry or manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years or more of medical or patient facing healthcare experience

The position, Hospital Reference Test Clerk, will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment located onsite with one of our client offices.
