Job summary

Canyon Ridge Hospital in the Inland Empire is seeking a compassionate Receptionist to join our team on a per diem basis. This role operates the switchboard, relays calls, pages, and greets lobby visitors, supporting a busy behavioral health environment.

Canyon Ridge Hospital is currently seeking a compassionate and talented Receptionist to join our team.

At Canyon Ridge Hospital we understand that not all wounds are visible. Depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, addiction, and suicide affects millions of individuals and families. Our mission is to be a leader in behavioral healthcare, dedicated to excellent service in the community.

Canyon Ridge Hospital has serviced the Greater Inland Empire since 1989. Canyon Ridge is a 157-bed acute, locked psychiatric facility offering services to adolescents ages 13-17, adults and older adults.

We believe in an individualized, patient-focused approach to diagnosis and treatment. For some, anxiety or drug dependence looks different from others with the same diagnoses, and in some cases, behavioral health and substance use disorders occur simultaneously. In these cases of dual diagnosis, we treat the patients in the best way possible given their specific needs.

Position Summary

Operates switchboard to relay incoming and outgoing calls and pages. Greets and directs all lobby visitors.

This is a Per Diem position and must be open to work holidays

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience in hospital or medical office related setting.
• Previous experience with PBX board; good communication skills; good telephone skills;
• Ability to concentrate on tasks in high traffic area;
