Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a hospital setting, in Aberdeen, WA. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver individualized therapy plans and support residents in regaining mobility and independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with therapy sessions, monitoring progress, documenting treatments, and collaborating with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold PTA licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• SNF or geriatric care experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Covid-19 vaccine and flu vaccine status required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in executing individualized therapy plans for residents.
• Conduct therapy sessions aimed at improving strength, balance, and mobility.
• Monitor residents’ progress and provide feedback to the Physical Therapist.
• Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Other duties as assigned.
