Riverview Psychiatric Center (RPC) in Maine seeks a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join our staff. The role involves hospital-based consultations, evaluations in incarcerated settings, and care coordination across the state mental health system. Teaching opportunities are available with allied fields.

Minimum qualifications include a Maine medical license and ABPN certification; hospital psychiatry experience and forensic background are preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifikationen

• Current license to practice medicine in Maine and ABPN certification.
• Experience as a hospital psychiatrist.
• Forensic psychiatry training/experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Serve as a consultant to hospital-based treatment teams to offer treatment recommendations.
• Perform psychiatric evaluations and psychopharmacology assessments of patients in incarcerated settings referred to DHHS.
• Assist in care management across transitions of agencies and facilities within the state’s mental health system.
• Coordinate with and cover for the Outpatient Services team.
