Job summary

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a General Porter to provide a comprehensive portering service across the Trust. You will support patient flow and the safe movement of patients, equipment and supplies throughout both clinical and non-clinical areas.

The role involves responding to routine and emergency situations, assisting with manual handling, and delivering items such as specimens, blood products and linen while maintaining health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Move patients using wheelchairs, beds and trolleys across hospital areas.
• Deliver and collect clinical and non-clinical items such as specimens, blood products and linen.
