Responsibilities

• Patrols the hospital campus to deter and detect criminal activity.

• Performs preliminary and continued investigations.
• Searches for and collects physical evidence; interviews witnesses.
• Enforces criminal laws by arrest or non-arrest dispositions.
• Testifies in court.
• Answers emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
• Deters crime using efficient patrol techniques.
• Investigates crimes by obtaining witness statements, collecting evidence.
• Writes reports on incidents, arrests, and juvenile records.
• Prepares criminal charges.
• Handles prisoners, including booking and transporting.
