ICFAI is seeking a Plumber's Assistant to support repairs, installations, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of hospital plumbing systems. You will assist with general building and grounds maintenance, performing minor equipment repairs as directed.

The role requires a High School diploma (vocational training preferred) and at least one year of plumbing experience, with familiarity in building systems and safety procedures. Shift is M-F, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred with general maintenance abilities.
• High School vocational training beyond high school is recommended.
• One year plumbing experience or related field experience required.
• Familiarity with building maintenance techniques, heating systems and safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Plumber with repairs, installations, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing systems within the hospital.
• Assist with general maintenance of buildings and grounds; perform minor equipment repairs as instructed.
• May have access to medication storage areas (excluding patient health information) as related to duties.
• Support adherence to fire and safety regulations and procedures; operate equipment safely.
• Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with on-call duties.
