Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL, is seeking a Plumber responsible for hospital plumbing, mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance. The role includes preventive maintenance, repairs, and collaboration with the Plant Operations team to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Two to three years of building maintenance experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, along with knowledge of boilers, water testing, and various trades.

Qualifications

• Two-three (2-3) years’ experience in building maintenance is preferable in a Health Care Facility.
• Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Painting, Drywall installation/finishing and locksmith experience.
• Must have experience with steam boilers, boilers and knowledge of water testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and needed repairs on hospital mechanical equipment.
• Ensure equipment operates within the established limits set by manufacturers.
• Cross-train and assist in other trade areas as needed to meet facility needs.
• Direct reporting to the Director of Plant Operations and, on shift, the Administrative Supervisor.
• Be exposed to electrical and mechanical construction environments, fumes, dust, and potential hazards.
