The role you’ll contribute:

The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for collecting (excluding microbiology & pathology positions), processing & prioritizing large volumes of blood, body fluids, tissues, and other substances for laboratory testing. Requires continuous communication via computer, phone, fax, and mail to maintain effective working relationships with hospital departments, system facilities, and external customers. Customer service skills are continuously exercised. The role involves performing multiple clerical tasks related to specimen collection & processing with meticulous attention to detail.
