Job summary

Labcorp in Portland, OR is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a hospital team, performing blood draws and specimen collection with a rotating night schedule. You will deliver compassionate patient care and accurate data entry, while supporting billing and administrative tasks as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy experience or training, and strong communication and service skills. Travel to additional sites may be required.

• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Good Samaritan in Portland, OR

Work Schedule:

Rotating Schedule 10:00PM - 7:30AM, Thursday-Saturday and Sunday-Wednesday followed by a week off.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience
• 2 or more years of inpatient phlebotomy experience
• 6 or more months of direct patient care

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
