Job summary

You will accurately label, verify, and document medication orders, stock automated dispensing cabinets, assist with inventory, and maintain compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be registered by Kansas State Board of Pharmacy.
• CPhT certification preferred but not required.
• Previous hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and patient safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package medications for inpatient use under pharmacist supervision.
• Accurately label, organize, and prepare medication doses for verification and delivery.
• Enter medication orders and maintain inventory records.
• Restock automated dispensing cabinets and other storage systems.
• Assist with medication inventory control, ordering, and receiving.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Support pharmacists in ensuring safe and compliant medication preparation and distribution.
