Job summary

Geisinger Medical Center in the United States is seeking an entry-level Pharmacy Technician to support medication delivery and inventory control in a clinical setting. This role emphasizes patient/provider communication and requires completion of high school diploma and PTCB/NHA certification within 2 years.

The position is regular, 20 hours per week with rotation shifts. Training and onboarding are provided; you will work under supervision in a hospital pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification within 2 years: PTCB or NHA.
• Strong communication and computer literacy needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/provider/customer care.
• Use the pharmacy computer system to facilitate patient care.
• Assist in duties that do not require a pharmacist.
• Prepare and label medications for distribution.
• Maintain inventory and records in the pharmacy.
• Perform housekeeping and onboarding/training of new staff.
