Job summary

Witham Health Services in Lebanon, IN seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support all Pharmacy operations. The role requires completion of a Pharmacy Technician Certification and Indiana licensure, with duties entering physician orders, using pharmacy automation, preparing sterile IVs, handling billing and inventory under a Pharmacist.

This is a full-time, day-shift position with weekend coverage; applicants must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED and Indiana license or in-training status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Indiana State Pharmacy Technician license required (or in-training).
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) required within 12 months of hire.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Enter physician orders into computer systems.
• Utilize pharmacy automation and some manual systems for drug distribution.
• Safely prepare sterile IV medications.
• Handle pharmacy billing and credits and manage inventory.
• Assist the Pharmacist where needed.
