Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a hospital LTAC setting. You will assist the pharmacist with preparing and dispensing medications, preparing IV packs, and handling inventory and data entry.

The role requires excellent English communication, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior hospital pharmacy experience is preferred and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician is required where mandated.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of secondary education preferred.
• PHRMTECH-R or state Pharmacy Technician licensure required where mandated.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication.
• Prepare IV packs and labels; fill bottles with prescribed tablets/capsules.
• Process medication records and enter data into computer; assist with inventory.
