HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital in Sarasota, Florida is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team. You will prepare and dispense medications in accordance with standard procedures and maintain accurate records to support safe patient care.

Responsibilities include counting, labeling, and packaging unit doses; assisting pharmacists; performing quality control; preparing IV mixtures; maintaining inventory; and supporting hospital improvement initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Florida registration as Pharmacy Technician or valid intern license required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CphT) preferred.

• Count, package, and label unit doses for pharmacist inspection.
• Assist pharmacists with filling orders and preparing labels.
• Perform quality control and auditing to ensure medications are available for caregivers.
• Prepare IV mixtures and operate automated systems.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and perform clerical duties.
• Contribute to hospital improvement efforts and service excellence goals.
• Follow guidelines for reporting significant medical errors or adverse patient outcomes.
