Qualifications

• At least 1 year of pharmacy tech experience.
• Must be certified as a pharmacy technician with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy.
• Proficient with unit-dose preparation and pharmacy dispensing systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize medication inventory to support daily pharmacy operations.
• Order, receive, unpack, and stock medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Prepare unit-dose medications and medications for automated dispensing system refills.
• Deliver medications and pharmacy supplies to departments throughout the hospital.
• Support accurate processing and categorization of pharmacy invoices.
