Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in hospital settings. You will prepare and distribute medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, handle IV admixtures, Pyxis refills, and medication deliveries to patient care areas while maintaining stock and proper storage.

Mentoring students is also part of the role. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with hospital experience preferred and PTCB/ICPT certification

• Fill and label medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain medication stock and proper storage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Fill/label medications; refill Pyxis; deliver meds to patient care areas.
• Prepare IV admixture solutions; answer calls and route to staff.
• Maintain stock levels and proper medication storage for safe, cost-effective services.
• Mentor and train students.
