Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health is seeking a pharmacy technician to support pharmacists in medication processing, dispensing, and inventory at the hospital campus. You will assist with sterile products, data entry, and maintaining safe medication handling in collaboration with the pharmacy team.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and CPHT or equivalent licensure, with preference for experience in hospital settings and automation equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensure: CPHT and State Board registration in the state of work.
• Experience with medication distribution.
• Experience with automated pharmacy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procures, handles, prepares, distributes, charges/credits and disposes of medication safely and accurately.
• Assists the pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care to patients.
• Participates in inventory management and uses automation/equipment.
• Processes and prepares sterile products for dispensing.
• Keeps records and supports quality programs.
