Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking Pharmacy Technicians at three levels to support pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications in a compliant, patient-focused environment. Pharmacy Tech I requires a high school diploma; Tech II adds a PTCB certification within 6 months; Tech III requires 3 years hospital experience and ongoing registration.

All tracks require orientation and fingerprinting for FBI background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Active State Board of Pharmacy registration or ability to register by first day; FBI background check fingerprinting.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by PTCB obtained within 6 months of hire (Tech II only).
• 3 years hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent for Tech III; active registration and fingerprinting.
• Complete pharmacy department orientation successfully.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Follow federal, state, and local laws and regulations for patient safety.
• Support department orientation and ongoing training.
