Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time outpatient Pharmacy Technician at the Lenox Township site. This role supports preparation, storage, distribution, and dispensing of prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, with rotation through IV admixture and unit dose services.

Responsibilities include data entry, processing prescriptions, customer service at lobby and drive-through, and assisting in training new staff. License requirements in Michigan apply upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience or graduation from an ASHP-accredited technician training program preferred.
• LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI Upon Hire required or LIC-Pharmacist Intern - STATE_MI Upon Hire required.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, performs preparation, storage, distribution and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Rotates through IV admixture and unit dose service; may rotate to OR Pharmacy Services and Outpatient Pharmacy Services.
• Enter patient demographics and prescriptions into the pharmacy information system; prioritize scripts for customers waiting.
• Process prescriptions, fill and label medications, and reconcile with pharmacist verification.
• Assist in training of new staff and provide IT support as needed.
