Qualifications

• Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• National certification through National Healthcareer Association or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepares and labels medications.
• Tracks prescription orders via pharmacy programs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Monitors and ensures adequate inventory.
• Accurately prepares IVs following USP Guidelines.

Skills

Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy

National certification through NHA or PTCB

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Graduate from a pharmacy technology program

Sterile Compounding Certification
