Job summary

JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician I-IV for Viola Pitts/Como Health Center. You will support pharmacists by storing, preparing, labeling, distributing, and charging medications, under supervision and in compliance with state rules.

Required: current Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration and national certification (NHA or PTCB); preferred: HS diploma or pharmacy tech program graduate, sterile compounding certification.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• National certification through NHA or PTCB.
• Preferred: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Graduate from a pharmacy technology program.
• Sterile Compounding Certification (ACPE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in storing, preparing, distributing, and charging medications.
• Comply with Texas State Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations.
• Support inpatient, oncology, and outpatient pharmacy tasks.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accuracy in all transactions.
• Process medication transactions and update patient demographics in systems.
