Middle Park Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation and distribution across its rural health system in Colorado. The role includes managing automated dispensing, inventory control, and adherence to policy. On-call availability is required; PRN status applies.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and BLS within 60 days. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and a retirement program participation for employees.

• BLS certification within 60 days of hire

Responsabilidades

• Runs daily Automated Dispensing Unit reports and reviews inventory for acute, swing and LTC patients.
• Restocks the Automated Dispensing Unit daily under supervision.
• Observes compliance of drug storage and preparation areas.
• Places daily orders to procure medication inventory for JIT stock.
• Updates perpetual inventory with quantities, prices, dates and expirations.
• Provides/assists in ADU training and policy reviews for staff.
• Annotates controlled substance records and updates logs as required by law.
• Coordinates and processes returns of outdated drugs every two months.
• Monitors ADU inventory and back-up stock prior to purchasing.
• Supports formulary changes as recommended by the P&T Committee.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
