Job summary

UHS in Texas seeks Pharmacy Technicians/Trainees to assist the pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and keeping records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Prefer one to two years hospital experience.
• Knowledgeable of and complies with laws, rules and regulations that govern the practice of pharmacy.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, solve problems, adapts to changes within the work environment.
• An aptitude for working with other health care professionals.
• Willing to travel between STHS facilities.
• Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to compliance programs and codes of conduct.
