Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English safely and effectively.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Recognized Pharmacy Technician training program, nationally certified (CPhT), and/or Registered Pharmacy Intern preferred.
• 1 year hospital or community pharmacy experience or enrollment in ACPE PharmD program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medications and IV solutions per guidelines and regulations.
• Enter medication orders into the pharmacy computer system and maintain patient profiles.
• Pull, label, and deliver medications to nursing units and automated dispensing machines.
• Assist in training new technicians and support 24/7 department operations.
