Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a full-time Registered Pharmacy Technician to join the Leatherman Behavioral Care Pavilion team. The role supports pharmacists in dispensing medications, handling prescription data, stocking supplies, and performing clerical tasks within a hospital setting in Florence, SC.

Responsibilities include dosing preparation, inventory maintenance, and updating patient drug records under pharmacist oversight.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Certified pharmacy technician training program required.
• Two or more years of hospital or health-system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist a registered pharmacist with support activities to dispense prescriptions.
• Collect input and verify prescription, refill, and patient information.
• Receive and stock incoming supplies; perform some clerical duties in the department.
• Maintain drug inventories (restocking cabinets, packaging/re-packaging, etc.).
• Complete patients' records related to drug therapy and charges.
