Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing medications, maintaining records, and ensuring safe, cost-effective patient care across hospital sites. Under supervision, you will assist with all phases of pharmacy services and deliver excellent customer service.

The role includes handling medication orders, maintaining inventories, labeling, and collaborating with caregivers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification/license required.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Experience with pharmacy computer systems preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend and two to three weekday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all phases of pharmacy services under pharmacist supervision.
• Answers phones and provides excellent customer service.
• Maintains records and assists in collecting patient information as required by policy.
• Prepares medication orders for dispensing and compounds medications as appropriate to practice site.
