Job summary

CompleteRx, in collaboration with Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support hospital-wide unit dose drug distribution and IV admixture programs in Tallahassee, FL. Positions are FT or Flex, with schedules 7:30am-4:00pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm.

Under direct supervision of pharmacists, you will perform technical and clerical duties, maintain confidential records, prepare IV meds, stock automation, and assist in training junior technicians; Florida-licensed technicians with

Qualifications

Three years of pharmacy experience.
High school diploma (or equivalent) and completion of a Florida Board of Pharmacy approved technician program.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or NHA registration.
Florida pharmacy technician registration must be current.

Responsibilities

Perform technical and clerical duties for the hospital-wide unit dose distribution system and IV admixture program under pharmacist supervision.
Maintain confidential reports and enter/retrieve data in the computer system; prepare IV medications.
Fill automated dispensing systems with unit-dose meds and stock pharmaceutical supplies.
Deliver supplies to patient care areas and manage pharmacy automation.
Assist in training/educating lower-level technicians; pharmacist provides instructions and reviews work.
