Job summary

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for the inpatient pharmacy. The role is full-time with rotating shifts at the Taylor, MI campus, supporting IV admixture, unit-dose distribution, and drug distribution to patient care areas.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, experience with sterile compounding or a related technician program, and potentially ASHP-accredited training. MI licensure on hire is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience.
• ASHP-accredited technician training program preferred.
• MI licensure (Tech) or Pharmacist Intern licensure upon hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in IV admixture and unit dose dispensing.
• Prepare and dispense oral, injectable, topical medications and IV admixtures.
• Enter charges/credits and document medications in the system.
• Distribute medications to patient care areas and other departments.
• Maintain records and restock shelves; answer calls and assist at Pharmacy window.
