Job summary

St. Bernards Healthcare in Wynne, Arkansas is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support inventory operations and assist the pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care.

You will split time between stockroom logistics and front-line pharmacy support. Responsibilities include receiving, logging, delivering to departments, monitoring stock levels and expiration dates, updating inventory software, and coordinating with vendors for orders and discrepancies.

Qualifications

• This is a safety sensitive position.
• Work is conducted in a normal hospital environment, and involves close eye work and hearing within normal range. Operations will be performed on the computer and multiple other types of technology. Continuous work with average weight objects (16-25lbs) and/or frequent pushing/pulling or lifting heavy objects (50lbs+).

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory operations and assist the pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Split time between stockroom logistics and front-line pharmacy support.
• Receive, log, and deliver supplies and medications to departments; monitor stock levels and expiration dates; process returns or disposals of damaged/expired goods.
• Update inventory management software to ensure accurate stock counts and tracking; generate purchase order requests; resolve shipment discrepancies with vendors.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications; refill automated cabinets; operate the pharmacy POS system; maintain a clean and compliant environment.
