Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, dispensing, and related patient care functions in a hospital setting. The role includes sterile compounding and use of automated medication equipment in a Day shift.

Qualifications include HS diploma or GED, 24 months hospital pharmacy experience (Level I), and licensure requirements with Oklahoma permit and PTCB CPhT within 90 days of hire. This is a full-time on-site position with routine administrative duties.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Two-plus years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred or equivalent as deemed by leadership.
• Must be able to perform Level I competencies.
• All Level I and II competencies are required.

Responsibilities

• Medication preparation and dispensing.
• Provides administrative and clerical support.
• Medication stocking/delivery and use of automated medication equipment.
• Patient care functions as assigned.
• Sterile compounding as required.
