Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support central pharmacy operations, including unit-dose preparation, outpatient prescriptions, and stocking duties. Under supervision of a staff pharmacist, you will perform calculations and assist with training of Pharmacy Technician Trainees.

The role is onsite at 81 Highland Avenue with a 40-hour work week, rotating shifts, and a pay range of $21.75 to $25.28 per hour. Relevant state license and the PTCB certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Perform intermediate mathematical calculations for non-sterile extemporaneous dosage forms.
• Follow state and federal controlled substance regulations.
• Assist with training Pharmacy Technician Trainees.
• Read, interpret, and follow instructions for sterile and non-sterile preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare unit dose medications.
• Distribute and stock medications.
• Maintain safe handling and storage of medications.
• Contribute to departmental projects and training.
