Lima Memorial Health System is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to partner with pharmacists and interns in dispensing, billing and recordkeeping across the Health System. Responsibilities include unit dose packaging, labeling, distribution, IV admixture, and floor stock delivery.

Education requirements include a high school diploma, with ExCPT/PTCB certification and Ohio registration required. One year hospital experience is preferred, with strong clerical, numerical, communication, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification by a nationally recognized exam (ExCPT or PTCB) is required.
• A valid unrestricted registration with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy as a 'Certified Pharmacy Technician' is required.
• One year of previous hospital experience is preferred.
• Strong clerical and numerical abilities with good communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Dispensing, billing and recordkeeping in the Pharmacy Department and throughout the Health System.
• Prepare unit dose packaging, medication labeling and distribution.
• IV admixture compounding.
• Prepare and deliver floor stock items.
