Job summary

Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital team. You will assist pharmacists with dispensing medications, compounding both nonsterile and sterile preparations, and preparing unit doses.

You will also help with inventory control, out-dating checks, inspections, compliance audits, and maintaining accurate pharmacy records in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail or hospital pharmacy preferred.
• Texas Pharmacy Tech registration required.
• Knowledge of basic medical and pharmaceutical terminology and basic pharmacy calculations/equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and perform nonsterile and sterile compounding.
• Prepare unit dosing and manage inventory.
