Job summary

CPS Solutions-Optum in Oklahoma City is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support hospital operations at Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital. This on-site role involves preparing, delivering, restocking medications, data and order entry, and stocking Omnicell units.

Required qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; registered or eligible to register as a pharmacy technician in Oklahoma. Preferred: hospital experience, MS Word proficiency, strong verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Registered, or the ability to become registered, as a pharmacy technician in Oklahoma.
• 1+ years hospital experience (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, delivering, and restocking medications to the various units/departments.
• Data / order entry.
• Obtaining the necessary medications to stock the Omnicell machines, including unit-dose packaging of bulk tablets and capsules.
• Performs routine checks for medication outdates.
• Maintains pharmacy cleanliness in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Assist with additional pharmacy duties as needed.
