Job summary

CompleteRx is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician at a 96-bed acute care facility in Greenville, Texas. You will procure and distribute drug orders, prepare sterile products, and deliver medications to patient care areas.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, TX tech registration, and at least six months of hospital experience; completion of a formal technician training program is preferred. Hospital experience and a willingness to work 10-hour shifts are desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Texas pharmacy technician registration.
• At least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Formal Pharmacy Technician training course completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures procurement and distribution of drug orders.
• Identifies and fills replacement medications on emergency crash carts, OR carts, and floor stock accurately.
• Prepares sterile products (including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition) accurately.
• Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately.
• Rotates stock to ensure use before the expiration date.
• Picks up orders, requisitions, and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds.
• Enters charges and credits for patient medications accurately.
• Identifies and replaces outdated and unusable drugs.
