Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME, is seeking a Manager of Hospital Pharmacy to coordinate pharmacy services under the Director of Pharmacy. The role may serve as PIC and involves staff management, budgeting, and inventory control.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD or Bachelor's in Pharmacy with 3+ years in hospital pharmacy and strong communication skills. Leadership experience and familiarity with hospital IT systems are preferred; board certification is a plus.

Qualificações

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License is required.
• 3+ years of hospital pharmacy experience is required.
• Previous leadership experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience with hospital computer systems, spreadsheets, word processing, and databases is required.
• Board certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and control hospital pharmacy services under Director of Pharmacy.
• May serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or acting PIC in absence of Director of Pharmacy.
• Manage Pharmacy staff and budgeting, including inventory control.
• Interact with physicians and other departments to ensure quality of care and education.
• Ensure licensure criteria are met and regulatory compliance is maintained.
