Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Intern/Technician on a PRN schedule to support dispensing, preparation, and distribution of medications. You will collaborate with pharmacists, maintain accurate records, and participate in sterile compounding, regulatory tasks, and patient education.

Must have high school graduation and PSI internship status; hospital experience and knowledge of pharmacy systems are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions and work with pharmacists with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Responds to medication dispensing requests and prepares meds for pharmacist review.
• Delivers checked medications to nursing units and handles waste per procedures.
• Assists with sterile compounding, regulated substances, and education.
• Supports safe medication use and participates in quality improvement.
