Responsibilities

• Compounds and dispenses medication pursuant to physician orders; monitors drug therapy for appropriateness of drug, dose, route and duration of therapy; and screens for drug interactions, compatibilities and contraindications.
• Provides drug information to physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and patients.
