St. Mary's Medical Center seeks a full-time Pharmacist to supervise the dispensing of medications, ensuring correct strength and dosage for each patient in a safe, timely manner in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include screening for allergies, interactions and dosing issues, providing drug information to staff and patients, and handling special assignments as directed by Pharmacy leadership to uphold professional standards.

Formación

• Degree from approved College of Pharmacy.
• Registered or eligible for registration in this state.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Membership in professional associations is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise the dispensing of all medication to ensure correct strength and dosage for the right patient, in a safe and timely manner.
• Screen patient regimens for allergies, drug interactions, dosing, and therapeutic duplication to safeguard patient health.
• Provide drug information to allied health professionals and patients.
• Perform special assignments as directed by the Director of Pharmacy or other pharmacist supervisors.
