Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a pharmacist to oversee hospital pharmacy operations and ensure patient safety across multiple units in New Jersey. Per Diem engagement with duties spanning General Medicine, ICU, OB-GYN, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, peri-operative and outpatient services. Qualifications include a Pharm.D.

(or B.S. with license) and state licensure; BLS/ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS certification and ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety.
• The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
