Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelor’s or higher in Pharmacy.
• No experience required; hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist in Georgia upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of distribution, documentation and compounding related to drugs, solutions and equipment to meet patient and staff needs.
• Reviews, dispenses and monitors medication therapy for all ages and disease states with appropriate dosing variations.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and monitors orders filled by auxiliary personnel.
• Maintains competency and engages in ongoing professional development.
