Job summary

Sanford Health in Iron Mountain, MI is seeking a Pharmacist to join Marsh Med Ctr Iron Mtn. This full-time role offers 10-hour day shifts, a 40-hour week, and a salary range of $61.00 to $87.50 per hour.

The position involves reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, advising on drug interactions, and providing patient counseling in a retail/community pharmacy setting. You will oversee pharmaceutical care, participate in on-call rotation, and work with hospital and clinic teams.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must be graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy and licensed.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions to assure accuracy, ascertain needed ingredients, and evaluate their suitability.
• Counsel patients on medication administration, interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
• Dispense prescriptions in retail/community setting and advise providers on dosage and interactions.
• Provide oversight and supervision for pharmacy services and staff as required.
