Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy with at least 1 year hospital experience.
• Maryland Pharmacist license or eligibility for reciprocity.
• Hospital Residency preferred; psychiatric/pediatric residency advantageous.
• Continuing education requirements must be met.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Reviews drug orders and seeks clarification when needed.
• Collaborates with medical and nursing staff to provide high-quality pharmacy services.
• Oversees and reviews work of technical staff.
• Ensures safe and efficient functioning of the Pharmacy.
• On-call coverage after hours on a rotating schedule; rotating evenings and every other weekend.
• Duties include scheduling around 60 hours per pay period (3-11pm evenings; 8am-2pm weekends).
