Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely to destinations.
• Secure IVs, lines, and patient while transporting.
• Use wheelchairs and rolling stock as needed for patient moves.
• Communicate with nursing staff and dispatch to coordinate transports.
• Ensure patient comfort and privacy during transport.
• Report equipment issues and notify staff of distress.
